Mothers and Daughters ages 12 and older in 2023. This also includes grandmothers/granddaughters, aunts/nieces, mentors/mentees.

What:

A relationship-building time for women of ages 12+ where you can spend quality time together.

When: 

May 5-7, 2023

Cost:

Ages Adults (18+): $80

Ages Youth (12-17): $40

Infants are welcome, at no cost, please contact us so we can arrange appropriate housing.

Time:

Registration is from 5:30-6:45 PM on Friday

No dinner – eat before you arrive.

Weekend wraps up on Sunday after Chapel you can leave at your own leisure.

This Year’s Speaker: Jillieta Norwood

Jillieta Norwood was born into a Christian home and grew up in Litchfield, MN where her father was a pastor of a small rural church. She is a graduate of Evangel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and music. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology from the University of North Dakota. In 2016, she graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s in School Administration and Supervision and most recently graduated with a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership from Liberty University.

Jillieta has over 20 years of experience in public and private education which has spanned multiple states and Europe. In addition to teaching, she spent some time as a research assistant in a biology lab at the University of North Dakota before the Air Force moved them to Germany where she returned to education. In 2016, she became a Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship, a worldwide Bible study organization, and planted an Evening Women’s class in Edwardsville, Illinois. She is currently the Teaching Leader for the Brainerd Day Women’s BSF class. She is also the Head of School at Stâre Academy in Baxter, MN.

Jillieta lives in Fort Ripley, Minnesota with her husband Kris who is a retired Air Force pilot and a current pilot for Delta Airlines. Her oldest son is a Lieutenant in the United States Army, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Her youngest is a dental student at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Her main goal is to be ready to say “Here am I, send me,” whenever God calls her name. She loves to learn and is an avid reader and traveler.
