Family Camp 1

Charlie Bolstridge
About Charlie

Pastor Charlie Gre up in Skowhegan, Maine. He was an active and social teen. He grew up in the Nazarene Church and he trusted the Lord as his savior at age 12. Charlie drifted away from his Christian walk. One day, he was in the cow barn and he heard God say “Have you had enough?.”. At that moment, he realized he need to make a clean break from his destructive lifestyle. He moved back home and lived with his family and that’s when he was encouraged to continue his education at the Easter Nazarene College in Boston. It was just the beginning of his life. This is where he met his wife PJ. They got married in 1989 and started a family. In 1996 Charlie and PJ started following the life that God set for them. They moved to New Hampshire in 2000 and his positon ended, but him and his wife were in prayer and walking around the neighborhood to talk to people and Charlie realized he was drawn to community outreach. They moved to Hungary and attended Word of Life Bible Institute. In 2009, they returned to the US and Charlie served as a Senior Pastor thorugh the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in NY.

That’s when he grew in his role as a pastor and in building relationships in the community in many areas. he was ordained in the C&MA denomination, Charlie and PJ were opened to goinging wherever God was leading them next. In 2019, Charlie was called to serve as a Lead Pastor at Pointway Alliance Church in Baxter.  Since being at Pointway, he serves as a MN Teen Challange mentor, on the board of directors for Lakes Area Pregnancy Center, Area Pastors Association, and is a volunteer at several loval ministries and as the “Camp JIM Lumberjack”. He loves to spend time with family, travels with his wife, coffee with everyone, and fishing! He also loves spending time with his kids and FaceTiming his Grandkids!

Jeremiah Knoop
About Jeremiah:

Standing over six feet tall and weighing slightly more than his Saint Bernard, Pastor Jeremiah Knoop is thrilled to be the speaker for this year’s Family Camp 2.  Jeremiah was born again at an early age on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. He met his wife Elizabeth on a mission trip in Guatemala, and they fell in love the moment he told her that her hair looked like a bunch of goats! After college, Jeremiah studied in Israel, pastored a church in Nebraska, earned several degrees in Bible stuff, and now he now serves as the lead pastor of a cross-cultural church in the Twin Cities. He and Elizabeth have four boys. Jeremiah grew up going to Camp Jim way back in the olden days, and his highest joy is sharing the love of Jesus and the life-changing truth of God’s Word in the Bible. He also enjoys long beards, yummy coffee, manly adventures, playing basketball, worship music, and paddle boarding.
